Whilst we may be able to look after our personal needs without any problems, there can be times in everyone’s life when we need support with the housework. Maybe you’ve just had an operation and hoovering is out of the question for a while, or perhaps keeping the whole house dust-free is just too big a job for you these days.
We understand that being content with your home environment is a vital part of your wellbeing. Constantly seeing things that need doing, that can’t be tackled because you just don’t have the energy at the moment, can drain any of us. But many of us are concerned at letting strangers into our home – how do we know they’re going to be trustworthy?
ISS can sort all this out for you. All our Personal Assistants are police checked to ensure they have a clean criminal record, giving you peace of mind. We can arrange support to meet your needs, whether it’s a 3-hour blitz on the housework once a week, or half an hour every other day – we’ll work round what you want. Payment is by standing order once a month, so you don’t need to worry about keeping money in the house to pay people, plus it makes it easy for a relative to help out with payments.
